About Me

Hey! I am Brooke Klauss: the owner of Captured Portraiture. I fell in love with photography when I was sixteen years old and received my first camera for Christmas. Little did I know that I would find a hidden talent and passion. I pursued this dream all through college as I studied graphic design and photography; I graduated with my degree in 2018 but decided to begin my full-time photography career. I got married to my best friend, Aaron, in 2017 and we have two littles: Brynleigh and Ridge. We also have 2 dwarf goats and 10 chickens. Our life is a bit wild to say the least, but I love it! A few of my favorite things are Jesus, my family (literally obsessed with them), photography, Chick-Fil-A (iced coffee specifically), Criminal Minds, shopping at Goodwill, decorating my home (I think I am Joanna Gaines), and sleep. My mission as a photographer is to capture warm, candid, priceless moments that my clients can treasure forever. I would love nothing more than to talk about what moments I can capture for you!
