Hello, I am Brooke.
I am so glad that you are here scrolling through my site! My name is Brooke Klauss, and I am a wedding and portrait photographer based in southern Virginia. My goal is to capture candid, warm, priceless moments that my clients can treasure for years after their session is over. Life is so fleeting. I feel like I just had my little girl and I am literally watching her grow before my eyes. Next thing I know, I'll blink and she will be graduating high school and then college and then I'll find myself bawling like a baby on her wedding day. It goes so fast, but that is why I exist. I want to capture all those moments, big and small, so you can bottle them up and treasure them for a life time. You will never regret freezing this stage of your life; it matters. HOW DO SESSIONS WORK?
Step One
The first thing you must do is decide what type of session you need at this time in your life. Are you getting engaged and seeking an engagement or wedding photographer? Are you an expectant mother wanting to book a maternity session or have you been a mom for eighteen years and are looking to book a senior session for your graduating baby. Captured Portraiture has several packages to choose from, all you have to do is decide which one you need!
Step two
Second, show up to your shoot and let me work my creative magic. I mainly use natural lighting to help me capture your session. During your shoot, I want you to be able to feel confident and relaxed trusting that I am here to tell your story through my lens. I desire for you to have fun and to be yourself so I can truly capture your personality. Last but not least, I want to share the love and grace of Jesus and I hope you see that throughout your session!
step three
When the session ends, I ask for 2 weeks to edit pictures (a bit more if its a wedding package) but typically you will receive them sooner since I get so excited to edit and give you a finished product. With every session, you receive an online gallery, free download of images, and the print release. Then I hope you love your images enough to share them on social media and help continue the growth of Captured Portraiture.
